About

Nolan brings a multi-disciplinary approach to the practice of law, drawing from his experience in a variety of fields and applying his unique legal background to find creative solutions for his clients.

Nolan has both American and French law degrees, including a specialized certification for corporate general counsel in multi-national business. Nolan began his legal career at a boutique Parisian law firm specializing in international commercial arbitration and hybrid profit/nonprofit social purpose companies.

After returning to Bellingham, Washington, with his wife to raise their new family in the city where they both grew up, Nolan worked for multiple regional law firms in a variety of legal fields, soaking up the experience and mentorship of some of the Pacific Northwest's very best attorneys over the course of more than a decade. Nolan embarked on a solo practice in 2024.

Nolan also teaches business courses in the College of Business and Economics at Western Washington University (his alma mater) and happily provides a discount to his former students.

When he’s not working, you are likely to find Nolan sampling the wares at local breweries, wineries, and distilleries (he tends to favor his clients), toiling in the garden, or out enjoying the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with his family.
